Every release of Agent Adapt, in plain language.

v0.5.0

See what agents do at your store

Agent Adapt Pro adds Agent insights under WooCommerce. It shows how personal agents use your store, which ones bring orders, and where their carts are left behind.

The agent funnel, agent by agent

For any period, see how many Sessions each agent started and how many of them went on to view a product, build a cart, hand it to the customer and end in an order. Revenue through agents is shown net of refunds and cancellations, next to your web orders, so you can compare average order values. You can also see which products agents look at and add to carts most.

Abandoned agent carts, and where agents get stuck

A cart counts as abandoned after 24 hours with no handoff, a handoff link nobody opened, or a link opened with no order. Each case is counted separately, with the products left behind. A "where agents get stuck" table shows which actions agents were refused and why, such as needing the customer to sign in.

Webhooks and CSV

Pick an "Agent: …" topic under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks to send order placed, cart handed over, customer signed in, operation finished or every agent event to your own systems. WooCommerce signs, queues and logs each delivery, as for its other webhooks. You can also download the per-agent table or the full event list as CSV.

v0.4.0

Your store, as an MCP server

Agent Adapt Pro now serves your store over MCP, the protocol most AI assistants and developer tools already use to connect to outside services. Everything an agent can do through the agent API is also there as MCP tools: search, policies, the cart and checkout handoff, and, once a customer signs in, their orders and account. The same rules apply on both.

Connect any MCP client

A customer can add your store to an assistant that follows MCP's current sign-in standard with nothing more than your store's address. The assistant finds your store's sign-in page by itself and sends the customer there. The customer approves it on your store, just like a personal agent, and it gets access to that customer's account only. Each connection appears under My Account → Connected agents, where the customer can end it.

Changes still need approval

When an assistant connected over MCP asks for something your store must approve, such as cancelling a paid order, it gets back a proposal with the exact terms, not the change itself. Assistants that don't support approvals are told so, and nothing is changed.

Fixes & improvements

  • A request for access to a service your store doesn't offer is now refused clearly, whichever way the agent asks.
v0.3.0

Agents can now ask, and your customers approve the exact terms

Agent Adapt Pro adds the Personal Agent Protocol's operations extension. When an agent wants to change something, such as cancelling a paid order or requesting a return, your store proposes it with exact terms. The customer approves those terms in their assistant, and only then does your store act, exactly once.

Cancel, return and update, with approval

A customer's agent can now cancel a paid order that hasn't shipped, with a full refund. It can also send you a return request for a completed order, or change a saved address. Each one is shown to the customer as a plain-language summary first. For refunds and address changes, the customer has to approve that exact version themselves. If the terms change before they confirm, they're asked again. Return requests arrive as an order note and an email to you, and nothing is refunded until you decide.

You decide what agents may do

WooCommerce → Agents now has a policy panel. Switch any account action off. Limit a particular agent to viewing orders, or to signed-out shopping only. Or accept only the agents you've approved. The policy can only narrow what agents do, and it applies on their very next request.

Fixes & improvements

  • Order details now include each line's item ID, which return requests use.
  • A return request on an order that had no earlier requests no longer saved an empty record before it.
v0.2.0

Personal AI agents can now shop your store

Agent Adapt's first public release lets a customer's personal AI agent work with your WooCommerce store through the Personal Agent Protocol (Draft 0.1). The agent proves who it is, the customer decides what it may do, and you decide which agents your store serves.

Browse and build a cart, then hand it back

Without signing in, an agent can search your catalogue, read product details and your published policies, and build a cart with your own prices, stock rules and coupons. When it's ready, it hands the customer a link to your own checkout page, so payment always happens on your store, by the customer. WooCommerce's order attribution shows which agent the order came from.

Customer sign-in, on your own pages

When a customer wants their agent to use their account, they sign in on your store's sign-in page and approve the agent there. The agent never sees their password. A signed-in agent can read order history and saved addresses, cancel an unpaid order, and reorder. Customers see and disconnect their agents under My Account → Connected agents, and they get an email whenever a new agent connects.

Fixes & improvements

  • WooCommerce → Agents lists every agent that has used your store, with its activity, and blocks any agent immediately.
  • Site Health checks HTTPS, permalinks, discovery, the Authorization header and "Coming soon" mode, and says how to fix each one.
  • An agent's own browser shares the visit and the cart, and is kept out of the dashboard, account details, payment methods and checkout.
