See what agents couldn't do at your store Free
Customers' agents can tell your store when there was no way to do what the customer wanted. Where those reports appear, what they hold, and how to read them.
Updated October 20, 2026
When a customer asks their personal agent to do something at your store and the agent finds no way to do it, the agent can tell your store. Without that, all you would see is a customer who left. Agent Adapt collects these reports and shows them under WooCommerce → Agents, in the section What agents couldn’t do. This is part of the free plugin.
The protocol calls this feedback. An agent sends a report only when the task can’t be done here at all, through your store’s agent API, its website or its own AI agent. Errors and refusals are not reported this way; they show up as events instead. Sending a report is optional for agents, so not every agent will.
What a report holds
- What the customer wanted to do, in a short phrase such as "Pay with a gift card" (at most 200 characters).
- What the agent was trying to do, in more detail, and why it couldn’t (at most 2,000 characters).
- Which agent sent it, and when.
The protocol asks agents to describe the task, not the customer: no names, contact details or order numbers. If the customer was signed in when the agent sent it, Agent Adapt also notes which customer account it came from, but the screen doesn’t show that.
Reading the section
Reports from the last 30 days are grouped by what the customer wanted, ignoring capitals and spacing, with the most reported first. Each row shows how many reports there were, which agents sent them, when the last one came in, and what the agents said, with the latest few descriptions under Show.
A report is written by the customer’s agent, not by the customer and not by Agent Adapt. It can be mistaken: an agent may have missed something your store does offer. Any agent can send one. Read the reports as leads to check, not as instructions. Agent Adapt never acts on a report and never gives one to an AI model.
Limits and retention
- Each agent visit can send up to 10 reports an hour, and each agent up to 1,000 an hour, so one agent can’t flood the section.
- Reports are kept as long as agent events, 90 days by default, and deleted by the plugin’s hourly clean-up after that.
Privacy
Reports sent while a customer was signed in are tied to their account. They are included when you export that customer’s personal data from Tools → Export Personal Data, removed when you erase it from Tools → Erase Personal Data, and deleted if the account is deleted. See What Agent Adapt stores and shares.
Common questions
Why is the section empty?
No agent has reported anything in the last 30 days. Agents send a report only when a task can’t be done at all, and sending one is optional.
Can I reply to a report?
No. A report goes one way, from the agent to your store, and doesn’t say who the customer is. If many agents report the same task, that is a sign customers want it.
Does a report change anything at my store?
No. Reports are only stored and shown. Nothing in your store changes because of one.
